Please join us for a conversation between Artist - Grace DeGennaro, Art Historian & writer- Amy Rahn moderated by gallerist/curator - J.E. Paterak. We will be discussing Grace’s process and the installation of work here at Zero Station.

Grace DeGennaro is originally from Rockville Center NY. She received an MFA from Columbia University and a BS in Fine Arts from Skidmore College. DeGennaro currently lives and works in Yarmouth, Maine.

Her work has been internationally exhibited at galleries and institutions. Her work is included in various permanent institutional and private collections, including Tang Teaching Museum, Saratoga Springs, NY; Heckscher Museum, Huntington, NY; Gund Collection, Boston, MA; Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington DC; Ballinglen Museum of Contemporary Art, County Mayo, Ireland and Wellington Management, Boston.

Amy Rahn is an Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Maine at Augusta and the Director of UMA’s Charles Danforth Gallery.

An arts writer, curator, and art historian of modern & contemporary American art, Amy’s research interests include women artists, feminism and gender studies, and friendship among women artists.

J.E. Paterak is the gallery co-owner alongside Keith Fitzgerald. She is the gallery’s director and curator. Paterak received her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and BFA from Massachusetts College of Art. Paterak maintains a studio practice and has work in both public and private collections, most notably The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
